Intenseebate is a new blog network that allows its members to have a free Intensive Discussion Forums. The site’s founder, Ryan Butler, claims that this new program will allow for members to express their opinions, interact with each other, and even share “arguable” issues in hopes of getting their point across to another person. While Intenseebate has received a lot of negative attention due to some of the controversial blog post topics that have been posted, it still remains a fine program. Here are just a few of the insightful comments I included in my Intensiveebate review.
One of the biggest complaints I hear about Intenseebate is that it takes too long to load time. The reason I say this is that with out the mandatory Intenseebate comment form, you cannot specify how long you want your Intenseebate page to load. As a result, people often end up posting spam comments, which slows down the loading time of the Intenseebate page considerably. To avoid this, simply specify how long the page needs to load in the Intenseebate comment form.
Another complaint I often hear is that the moderation team at Intenseebate is lax on approving comments. I don’t understand why this would be a problem. First, if you are using the default commenting system at Intenseebate, you won’t be required to use the moderation team. So basically, you are able to post any type of comment as long as you don’t violate any of the site’s policies. If you are using the moderation staff at Intenseebate, it simply means that you aren’t part of the target market and haven’t met their approval.
Some members believe that by using a comment form on your Intenseebate website, you are submitting to more than one person. It simply doesn’t work like that. I have personally verified this by reporting that I am not submitting to the same person multiple times on my Intenseebate account. Also, the moderation staff at Intenseebate will always approve comments left via the default commenting system. You are only required to make a single comment when you are commenting on an article via the Intenseebate comment form.
One last complaint that I hear often is that people are submitting articles to their Intenseebate account via email. The reason they do this is because it is much easier than typing in the address. However, one aspect of this type of submission is that people are sometimes unknowingly submitting articles with incorrect formatting and information. By using the “color code” option for your Intenseebate account, you can ensure that the information entered is accurate and correct. You can also enter information into the box that is not relevant, such as links and phone numbers. This will be displayed alongside the article so that the reader knows what the article is about and why it is being submitted to the Intenseebate comments section.
One final topic that is frequently brought up is whether or not using the Intenseebate comment form is allowed. In short, using Intenseebate is perfectly acceptable as long as you are following the rules and settings listed in the Intenseebate website. If you are still having problems with this, you may need to adjust the settings on your blog. Simply go to ” Settings” and then click on “OAuth2” next to “Service Level 2 Authorization”.
